Benefit Cosmetics Puff Off! ♡

I recently went to restock some of my Benefit Cosmetic essentials and decided I wanted to try this guy out! I had seen so many ads for it that I wanted to check it out and see if it was worth the hype.

The applicator itself is like a little iron and you are supposed to add a drop under each eye and then "iron it out." It is super cooling and I kinda love it, I am someone who is obsessed with under eye creams though.

I have tried putting it on under my makeup and have put it over and I have to say that putting it under my makeup made more of a difference - I believe it makes my under eye look much more hydrated and brighter.

It is also what I would call a luxury product, something that is nice to have but is not essential to my makeup routine.

I don't think I would buy it again but I will continue using it as long as I have it - I would give it a 8/10.

Review: Too Faced Chocolate Bar

I finally got the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palate! I've been eyeing this palate for the longest time and I am honestly so happy I got it!

Firstly, this packaging is the cutest! I didn't want to throw away the box, also the palate itself is like a tin, think Naked 2 & 3. The eyeshadows themselves are also gorgeous! As gorgeous as the box hahaa.

When you open up the palate the first thing you notice is how delicious the eye shadows smell. The eye shadows are made from 100% natural cocoa powder so they smell like actual chocolate! The colors themselves have adorable names, I love Strawberry Bon Bon the most. The only complaint I do have with this palate is that the names of the individual eye shadows aren't marked on the palate, they are only on the plastic sheet that comes off. Other than that this palate has been my go to! I love it!

I would definitely recommend it as a Christmas present for your best friend or for yourself!

MAC Haul ♡

I got paid last week! &I totally blew it all on clothes and makeup...I can't really manage my money, I NEED TO LEARN! But my mismanagement is your gain because you get a haul! Yay!

I went & repurchased my prep + prime highlighting stick in lightboost - I have already talked about it here so I won't talk about in this post.

I got three things other than that, one of which was also a repurchase but I'll talk about it anyway!
I got: Mineralize Skin Finish in Lightscapade, Lip Pencil in Whirl and Cremeshene in Modesty!

This mineralize skinfinish is my absolutely favorite it is so pretty & light! Before this I was using MAC mineralize skinfinish in Soft&Gentle and although I did like it, it was too dark for my complexion. Full disclaimer I am really fucking pale.

Modesty is probably my favorite color to wear right now! I originally bought it last month but my little sister kept taking it from me so I figured I would let her keep it and buy myself another one. This lip color is super popular right now since it came out that this is the color Kylie Jenner uses - true story! I think it would be a great addition to anyone's lipstick collection, your lips will look fuller and all around better :)

The last purchase I got was this lip pencil in Whirl. I got this on a whim since I had seen it in a beauty guru hall. It is pretty nifty but I am unsure about it, since it is a little darker than I had expected and I am not used to wearing lip liner. I honestly think that's why I'm on the fence about it because I'm not used to wearing any lip liner and the entire act of putting it on is totally foreign to me.

I also bought some clothes from Top Shop and Wildfox but they aren't that exciting! I recently went out and got some summer reading so I will for sure be keeping up with my book reviews! I would love feedback, if anyone is even reading this!

Have a great Saturday & don't forget to follow me on tumblr or twitter

Night Routine ♡

It's difficult for me to sleep - it is the most challenging thing in the world for me actually. At times I can just fall dead asleep once I get into bed & other times I am literally up until 6 am when my alarm goes off.

But, lately I have been able to follow a little itty bitty routine.

Teaaaaa! I make my self a cup of sleepy time tea with honey right before bed. Sleepy time tea is basically chamomile tea, it is so soothing and lovely to drink while I am getting snug into bed.

&I throw on a movie. Preferably something that I've already seen that I don't mind falling asleep to. I love my iPad mini for this reason - I can have a few movies on there, have Netflix, and have Hulu all right next to my bed.

The iPad with the a moving playing also doubles as a nightlight since I got rid of my fairy lights from behind me bed.

That is basically it! I usually take my pants off somewhere in the mix and get as deep in the covers as I can.

I am actually falling asleep right now writing this! IT WORKS! hahaha

I hope this helps a bit if you also have moments of sleepless fits!

Review: MAC Face & Body Foundation ♡

Oh look another post! Can you tell I haven't done much today? So I decided to go ahead and do a review on the MAC face & body foundation that I grabbed a couple of weeks ago.

I wanted a sheer coverage foundation and something that looked super natural. I've been wearing Estee Lauder's Double Wear Foundation for forever and just thought it was way too thick, but it did stay on ALL DAY and looked natural.

I have pretty dry skin so I also made sure that the sheer coverage was also moisturizing and non drying.

This formula is actually pretty great and light, I got mine is N1 because I am fucking white lol. This formula can also be built upon pretty well and can be medium coverage.

This formula does seem to gather a bit after a while, which I am not used to. Also, right after I bought this sheer coverage foundation my skin decided to go crazy - not a result from the foundation - but other factors.

The foundation reminds me a lot of a tinted moisturizer and I haven't had any problems with it gathering in dry patches.

I do really like this foundation but I do miss my Estee Lauder when I get the occasional pimple. This foundation photographs beautifully and also neutralizes any redness.

7.9/ 10

I do wish now I would've opted for a fuller coverage because I am thinking that sheer coverage isn't for me.

I hope you guys all have a fantastic Monday!

Review: Rebecca Minkoff Mac Clutch ♡

Since I recently got a new job, which pays! I decided that one of my first purchases would be a nice purse.

I have a huge Kate Spade tote that I got for my college graduation last year that I've been using, but it is way too massive for an every day bag. I wanted something smaller, with a strap, that could be a cross body bag, and also big enough to hold my daily essentials.

I decided on the Rebecca Minkoff Mac Clutch

I love it! I originally bought a Mini Mac, which was tiny! I spent about $200 on the mini mac and could not justify spending that much on such a tiny bag! I returned it and decided to wait for my next paycheck and buy the bigger one.

The bigger one is a bit pricier than the smaller one, normal retail price for the Mac Clutch is about $295 before tax - yeah it's pretty steep.

I was going to shell out that much for it but luckily the week before I was paid I decided to go check the bag out at Bloomingdales and learned they were going to have a sale the following week, thank god!

I settled on the black one and bought it online the morning I got my check and chose to pick it up in store.

&I've been obsessed with it since! I absolutely love it! I've used it every day and it is surprisingly super roomy! I am able to fit my iPad mini and my makeup bag and a few other things!

The bottom has these "legs" that prop it up when you set them down. This detail is probably my favorite one  they're just adorable little studs.

The quality of the bag is pretty amazing. The leather is soft and seems super sturdy, I haven't really put it to the test and don't want to! haha

The inside of the bag has the same lining as the dust bag and 4 pockets on the inside, which are very useful!

I absolutely love my bag and wouldn't mind buying one in a different color! Although the black one makes me feel like a bad ass haha

Let me know what else you'd like to see on here! I definitely want to make a bigger effort in updating you guys and just putting up quality posts :)

June Playlist ♡

Made a quick playlist for you guys!

Lately, I've been digging the new Coldplay album - Ghost Stories. Honestly, every song on that album is so amazing and vastly different than anything they've done! I recently finished up the first Divergent novel and was listening their album the entire time I was reading it. It helped a ton with the atmosphere of that book, by the way you guys NEED to read it!

Other than that album, my musical taste this month totally reflects my mood for the month. I have been in need of just happy pop tunes at work and on my commute and these songs have definitely helped!

Let me know which songs you're currently listening to!! You can tell me on my tumblr or send me something on my twitter (which I recently started using again so you should all def follow me!).
