My skincare favorites ♡

These products are basically all I use on my skin! Except for the occasional new moisturizer or face wash, these products are pretty much the essentials. I don't have the best of skin, but really apart from a pimple here and there, I like to think my skin is pretty healthy. However, I have dry - combination skin, so there are parts that get really dry and then others that tend to be oily, it really depends on the season. Keeping that in mind, these are the products that have worked the best for my skin type

1 ♥ Mario Badescu Ginseng Moist Cream : Because I have really dry skin during the majority of Winter and Spring, this is my fave! It's really thick and feels hydrating when you apply it first thing in the morning before I apply my makeup, which is when I usually put on my moisturizer. Since the consistency is so thick, it can feel heavy on your face, but trust me if you have dry skin it will do wonders. I got mine at Ulta and I'm sure you can find it on amazon.com.

♥ Mario Badescu Drying Lotion : This stuff is the best to put on pimples that have come to a head. I don't put it on before it's come to a head because I feel like if I just dab some on a blemish that is just surfacing it ends up making it worse. It's like a sediment that YOU DONT SHAKE. You can only use it overnight, but it's worth it. Honestly the best face product I've used.

♥ Mario Badescu Chamomile Night Cream : This stuff is like the Ginseng cream but much more light. It is still thick but there is a lightness to it that makes it very refreshing to wear at night. I love this because it is calming and it leaves my face super hydrated and fresh. I don't wear it if I have already put on the drying lotion.

♥ The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Blemish Fade Night Lotion : This I use to just allow my old blemishes or acne scars to fade. I don't really have acne scars, but I do have some red spots from blemishes past that don't go away with just a facial scrub. This stuff does work but I don't put it on every night, just when I notice the redness more than other days.

♥ The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Toner : This toner is really good because it's all natural, like the majority of products I use (all of them actually). I use this only if I've had a day of heavy makeup and my makeup wipes haven't gotten it all off.

♥ The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil : This stuff is my LIFE SAVER! I love it so much! It isn't pure tea tree oil, but it has a high concentration of it and let me tell you, it works wonders on pimples. I had a HUGE pimple forming in between my nose and cheek and I could feel it just starting to come up, so for two days at night I would pop some of this on and it never came to a head! It just vanished!! For a while I was breaking out horrible and then I just stopped using everything and just this and my skin cleared up overnight! Love this stuff so much!

WATER! No matter how severe the situation I am firm believer that what you eat totally contributes to the health of your skin. A couple of years ago I had gained like 30 pounds and just ate really fatty things and junk food all the time, and my skin was HORRRRRIBLE. Also lots of juice and soda and sugary coffee, then I changed my eating habits and started going to the gym and drinking 75 fl oz of water a day - my skin cleared up in a matter of weeks and I stopped using proactive (which was the only thing then that could keep my diet fueled bad skin). SO DRINK LOTS OF WATER! Your skin will look great and the rest of you will feel great toooo!
