I recently purchased two pricey items from Sephora, Urban Decay Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color in Apocalypse and Stila eye shadow in Kitten (I'VE WANTED THIS FOREVER SO I LOVE IT). I noticed that the majority of my makeup and skin care items have been high end so I thought I would talk about my favorite drugstore brand, NYX!
This is my favorite NYX blush, well it is the only one I've been able to try out, and I heard amazing things about it before I bought it - which is the reason I initially purchased it.
It is in the color Pinched! This blush is a total and amazing dupe for NARS Super Orgasm, which I have but have hit pan on and it is so old it's basically all glitter now.
It's a really pretty pinky peach color with very little glitter, which I love! It is an absolute steal at $5 and
you can get it at Target or on Amazon.
Stila eye shadow in Kitten is AMAZING! I love it I love it I love it!
It is so buttery and rich and sooooo pigmented!
I honestly have found nothing like this before and I have a whole mess of neutral eye shadows. 10/10 would recommend to EVERYONE. It is available online and in stores at Sephora and Ulta and Amazon.
This was actually my sister's purchase when we went off to Sephora to cash in our gift cards, but we share allllll of our makeup.
This lip pencil functions as a lip liner and a lipstick, you can outline and fill in - basically.
It is highly pigmented and is that amazing deeeep plum that is so of the moment. I think if you pair this with MAC's Cyber it would look amazing. I wouldn't recommend this to someone who isn's comfortable experimenting with makeup, but if you're in the mood to be fearless - I highly recommend this lip pencil as opposed to buying a lipstick.
I swatched all of them side by side so you can see how the NYX pigmentation is actually of the same caliber as the Stila eye shadow and the Urban Decay lip pencil. Drugstore makeup, if you pick the right brand and do your research, it can end up being a really great staple in your makeup kit or collection!
